Andrew Walsh, owner and founder of Terra Dura Landscapes, was frustrated time and again by the limited selection of high-quality, eco-friendly outdoor products for the finishing touches on his landscape designs.
“When our crew finished with the landscape and hardscape, we were leaving the client with an incomplete picture," said Andrew. "It was unacceptable to me, especially as a professional.”
Refusing to compromise on quality, Andrew and his team searched high and low for products that met the needs of the client while keeping with their values. The goal was to provide the best environmentally friendly products without sending his clients all over the city and the web to get them.
That's how Blackland Supply Co. was born. A simple, easy to use platform to ease the burden of finding well-designed outdoor products, not only for landscape design clients, but for everyone.

In addition to offering products of superior quality, we aim to teach and promote good stewardship for the planet.
We believe the "throw away" culture of today is destroying our environment and our souls. Cheaply made and single-use products may satisfy wallets in the short term, but they have a negative effect on the planet. It has been proven again and again that well made, high-quality products save you more money in the long run, and when the products are also eco-friendly and sustainably produced, the benefits are reaped by you and the planet, too.
Here are a few of our guiding principles on stewardship:
- We seek to promote products that are innovating ways to recycle our waste before it ends up in the landfill.
- We promote technology that will prevent wasting non-renewable resources.
- We believe in a return to age old sustainable practices like composting and soil revitalization to restore our land.
